Created for the D&AD New Blood Awards 2024.

Brief: Get people talking about Twister through an outrageous, guerrilla campaign.

This campaign contains a mixture of AI generation and Adobe Photoshop.

The Campaign:

Twister will plant fields of tulips in order to create the shape of Twister ice creams. These installations will be displayed at Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam so they can be viewed from the air.

The campaign is centered in the Netherlands and there is no symbol of the Netherlands more iconic than tulips. The installations will have their grand opening on March 21st, the first day of the Keukenhof Tulip Gardens Festival.

Airplane Screens:

A display letting passengers know to look out their window will show on each airplane screen as the plane departs. The display will feature an animation of the Twister ice lollie (image on the right) into the Twister ice lollie with the message to look out the window (image on the left).

Airport Installation:

Side 1: Twister will create an installation inside the airport promoting the brand and the installations.

Airport Installation:

Side 2: Travelers will be able to take a Twister tulip with them to their next destination.
